Cookie Policy

1. What this Policy Covers

This Cookie Policy explains how INK IT Solutions (‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the website at www.inkitsolutions.com (the ‘Website’). It should be read alongside our Website Privacy Policy at www.inkitsolutions.com/privacy-policy, which sets out how we handle personal data more generally.

2. What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your computer, tablet, or mobile device by a website you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the owners of the site. The term ‘cookies’ in this Policy includes other similar tracking technologies such as web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, and software development kits.

3. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following reasons:

  • To enable the Website to function — for example, to remember session state or to route your request to the right server.
  • To remember preferences, you have set — for example, language, region, or accessibility settings.
  • To measure how the Website is used — for example, which pages are visited most often, how visitors navigate, and where errors occur.
  • To enable certain features — for example, embedded video content or interactive form widgets.
  • Where you have consented, to support marketing measurement and the delivery of relevant content across the Website and other channels.

4. Categories of Cookies We Use

We categorize the cookies we use as follows. Whether a cookie is set on your visit depends on your consent preferences and on the page you are visiting.

Category Purpose Consent Required
Strictly necessary Enable the Website to function. Examples include load balancing, security, and session state cookies. No
Performance / analytics Help us understand how the Website is used. Examples include page-view counters, error logs, and aggregated journey metrics. Yes
Functional Remember choices you make to provide enhanced features. Examples include language and region preferences. Yes
Advertising / targeting Where used, support measurement of marketing campaigns and the delivery of relevant content. We do not currently set such cookies for behavioural advertising. Yes

5. Cookie Inventory

The table below lists the cookies the Website may set, by category. The list is illustrative as at the effective date and is refreshed when we add or remove cookies. The current authoritative cookie register is available through the cookie preference centre at the bottom-left of every page on the Website.

6. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on the Website are placed by third parties acting on our behalf — for example, Google Analytics for performance measurement. These third parties may also collect technical data about you when you visit the Website, in accordance with their own privacy policies. We require these third parties to act as our processors, bound by data processing agreements, and to honour the consent state you set through our preference centre.

7. Your Consent and Choices

When you first visit the Website you will see a cookie banner. The banner allows you to accept all categories, reject non-essential categories, or set granular preferences through the preference centre. The position of the banner is calibrated to your apparent jurisdiction:

  • If you appear to be visiting from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom — non-essential cookies are blocked until you give consent (prior opt-in).
  • If you appear to be visiting from India — non-essential cookies are blocked until you give consent, consistent with the consent posture under Section 6 of the DPDPA.
  • If you appear to be visiting from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia — non-essential cookies are blocked until you give consent, consistent with the consent posture under the KSA PDPL.
  • If you appear to be visiting from the United Arab Emirates — non-essential cookies are blocked until you give consent, consistent with the consent posture under the UAE PDPL.
  • Elsewhere — the default position is also prior opt-in for non-essential cookies, in line with our global standard.

You may change your preferences at any time through the preference centre, accessible at the bottom-left of every page of the Website. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.

8. How to Manage Cookies through Your Browser

In addition to the preference centre, you may set your browser to refuse, accept, or notify you when cookies are being sent. The ‘help’ menu in most browsers explains how to manage cookie settings. Detailed instructions for popular browsers can be found at:

  • Google Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Microsoft Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
  • Apple Safari — Preferences → Privacy

Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Website. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without preventing the Website from functioning correctly.

9. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a ‘Do Not Track’ (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry standard for honouring DNT signals. We respond to consent preferences set through our preference centre as set out in Section 7 above.

10. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, particularly when we introduce new cookies or change the purposes of cookies already in use. Material changes will be notified through the cookie banner on the Website. The ‘Effective date’ at the top of this Policy indicates when it was last revised.
